This way cool lamp is in excellent vintage condition: I can find no flaws. The wiring looks to be original but it is in excellent, usable condition.The lamp is true vintage; the shade is one which I had made especially for it. The figure is a male dancer; he is all black except for his gold ballet shoes, belt and hair. There is a 4.5 square, 3" high black plastic (removable) dish inset in front of the dancer - for plants or perhaps candy.
The lamp itself measures approximately 16 3/4" high and sits on a 7" (diameter) base; it is approximately 8" at its widest. The pink fiberglass shade measures approximately 9" overall. The bottom tier with its gold matchstick pattern measures 15" in diameter and is 6.5 " tall; the top tier tapers from 12" in diameter down to 9" in diameter and stands 3" tall. When all put together, the ensemble stands approximately 25 3/4" tall.
This beauty would certainly enhance and/or be the focal point of your contemporary or vintage decor and would be a wonderful addition to your vintage lighting collection!
