Mid Century Handbag Shaped Compact, Mascot, ca 1950s

This compact - shaped like an elegant handbag with its black sequin set fabric - is in excellent condition, as is its original box. The compact measures 1" thick, 3" wide and 3" deep which includes its 1/4" purse handle. The mirror bezel is stamped MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. The inner lid is stamped with the trademark Mascot brand crown stamp.

This fun compact would certainly make heads turn every time you pull it out and would be a wonderful addition to your vintage collection.
