These handsome wool slacks are in excellent vintage condition: I can find no flaws. The waist measures approximately 17" (flat) and the hips, 20" (flat;) the inseam is 33". There are belt loops all around and a side slit pockets at each hip and a small (pocket watch?) pocket in the front, as well as 2 pockets on the rear, one buttoned and one not. There is a 2" cuff on either side. There are buttons sewn into the interior for braces and the requisite 1/4" slit in the middle of the back.
What a wonderful example of wearable 1940s men's style at its best! Sure to enhance and/or be the focal point of your vintage or contemporary ensemble, this would be a wonderful addition to your vintage clothing collection.
